Program Guide to program Xfinity Universal Remote

Pairing the Voice remote with Xfinity TV Box
Point your Voice remote at the TV Box or Flex streaming device, press ‘Microphone’ (Voice) button and say, ‘Program remote.’ A set of instructions would be visible on the screen, and you have to follow them. As you follow the instructions photo of your remote and it asks a question ‘Do you want to use your remote to control your TV power and volume?’. Press Yes, and your pairing is complete.
You can follow the steps below as well
Step 1: Press the ‘A’ button on the remote.
Step 2: Select ‘Remote Setup’ on the TV that you are pairing.
Step 3: Now, just proceed with the instructions on the screen.
Programming the Voice Remote to control TV or Audio Device
Press and hold the ‘Microphone’(Voice) button on your remote pointing at the TV or Audio device and say ‘Program remote.’
You can also choose to navigate through Settings Page > Remote settings > Voice Remote Pairing.
If your remote has a SETUP button
Step 1: Turn on the TV that you wish to control using Xfinity remote codes.
Step 2: Now press and hold the ‘Setup’ button until the light on the remote changes from red to green.
Step 3: You have to press 9 9 1. The LED will flash twice in green color.
Step 4: Keep pressing the ‘Channel UP’ (CH /\) button until the TV turns off.
Step 5: After your TV turns off, press the ‘Setup’ button. This will lock your code.
Step 6: Press the ‘Power’ button and check if the TV turns on. If it does, you are all set. But don’t forget to verify other functions as well.
If your remote doesn’t have a SETUP button but has Number buttons
Step 1: Turn your TV on.
Step 2: Press and hold the ‘Xfinity’ and ‘Mute’ buttons at the same time for five seconds until you see the light changing green from red.
Step 3: Type the first code that you find in Xfinity Remote codes listed below using the number buttons.
If the code is correct, the LED on the remote blinks twice in green.
If the code is incorrect, the LED on the remote blinks red and then green.
Step 4: Pointing the remote at the TV, press the ‘Power’ button.
Check whether the TV turns off. If it does turn it back on, verify other functionalities as well. If the TV doesn’t turn off or the code is incorrect, then you can use a different code from the list below and repeat the same procedure.
If the remote you are using doesn’t have SETUP and ‘Number buttons.’
Step 1: Turn The TV and the TV box On.
Step 2: Remove the pull tab on the back and activate your Remote.
Step 3: Press the ‘Microphone’ button, pointing your remote at the TV.
Step 4: Complete the setup by following the instructions on the screen.
Step 5: If your remote is already paired for voice, just press and hold the ‘Microphone’ button and say ‘Program Remote’ or navigate to Remote Programming instructions via the ‘Remote Settings’ menu.

Step 1: Open the app that you have just downloaded and tap on the TV icon. Select your TV box and then click on ‘Setup a remote.’
Step 2: Find the remote control model you need to program by swiping. Click on it and press ‘Continue.’
Step 3: Select the TV or Audio/Other device and follow the instructions shown on the screen.
